Dr. Frederied Rivera is the founder and owner of Everest ThriveCare and a dual board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner with over 17 years of healthcare experience. He began his career in emergency medicine and has developed a diverse clinical background that includes primary care, neurology, and the treatment and long-term management of HIV/AIDS and sexually transmitted infections.
Dr. Rivera earned his Master of Science in Nursing from Ana G. Méndez University and his Doctor of Nursing Practice from Chamberlain University. His advanced training also includes aesthetic medicine, neuromodulator treatments, and medical weight loss management, enabling him to provide comprehensive care that supports both health and confidence.
A proud native of Puerto Rico, Dr. Rivera is fluent in English and Spanish and is passionate about creating a welcoming, judgment-free environment where patients feel heard, respected, and genuinely cared for. His approach blends evidence-based medicine with compassion, personalization, and trust.
Outside the clinic, he enjoys the outdoors, traveling, water sports, staying active, and spending time with his family and two Goldendoodles.
